Getting
out to explore Australia's unique fossil record and dinosaur
discovery sites has never been easier. Guided Tours are run
daily from the park in our fleet of mini buses.
Experienced
guides from Matilda Country Tours
will share their local knowledge and tell you a few good yarns
as well as provide you with morning tea and refreshments.
Stops will be
made along the way for you to photograph any special wildlife
we encounter. You could see any number of the outback's famous
fauna including emus, wedge-tailed eagles, camels, kangaroos,
brolgas, bustards, snakes, and spinifex pidgeons.
Bird
watchers regularly come to Lark Quarry to try and catch a glimpse
of the Rufus Crowned Emu Wren,
which is extremely rare and is found only in a few remote locations,
including Lark Quarry.
